OWEN PAUL MCGEE

Owen, who comes from a musical family, (one of his brothers was an original member of Simple Minds and another was a 'Blues Brother' in the West End production) has spent well over twenty years of his life working in all areas of the Entertainment Industry.  He has been 'vocal coached' extensively by both Mary Hammond (the West End's number one theatrical singing teacher) and Tona De Brett, her Rock and Pop equal.  Not only has he auditioned himself for lead roles with Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cameron Mackintosh and Bill Kenright, but at 'The Venue' theatre in Leicester Square, which he co-runs with his partner Parry Masterton, Owen has witnessed a multitude of auditions for all the major West End and touring musicals. He currently manages Masterpaul Entertainment, a company that provides professional support, guidance, and advice to aspiring singers, songwriters, musicians and bands.

As a business man he has worked as a consultant to the James Grant Media Group, who manage Ant and Dec, Philip Schofield, Keri Mcfadden and Simon Cowell to name but a few and he had an advisory role on their Television Production company and their Brand Management and Marketing departments.

Owen has a remarkable and sympathetic understanding of the creative process which is evident from the numerous highly acclaimed recordings that bear his name.  Together with his accumulated knowledge and vast experience this has equipped him with invaluable communication and organisational skills that are a fundamental requirement in this profession.

HISTORY

Primarily he has worked in the Music Business as a musician, (he plays guitar, bass & piano) a singer, songwriter, musical arranger & producer.  Most notable he became known as the singer, co-writer and producer of the 1986 smash hit 'My Favourite Waste of Time', which was a top five hit all over Europe, selling in excess of two million copies.

Owen also produced a Japanese number one, the Triple Platinum selling album 'TABOO', by Tokyo band 'Buck Tick'. 

As a co-producer he won BBC 1's 'Song for Europe' with singer Lindsay Dracass, who went on to have a top twenty hit with the song 'No Dream Impossible' and represented Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest.

He is vastly experienced in the recording studio, firstly as an artist and producer in his own right, from making countless inexpensive Demos, to recording albums at a multitude of studios at the very highest level, and he has worked with artists as diverse as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Simple Minds and Mike and the Mechanics.  As a 'Mechanic' he recently toured Europe as a special guest of Phil Collins on his farewell tour, appearing in front of an average audience of 60,000 people each night.

As a performer he has been on stages of all shapes and sizes all over the U.K, in as many pubs and clubs as you can count, all the way up to the Hammersmith Apollo, The Royal Albert Hall and many football stadiums and arenas across Europe, appearing alongside artists such as Alicia Keys, Boy George and The Corrs on the way.  He was specially invited to sing an accappella version of the American National Anthem at the Orlando Magic 'Astrodome' in Florida to kick off the basketball season in front of an audience of over 20,000 people.

While in America Owen lectured for four months on all areas of the writing and recording process at 'Full Sail', the Centre for the Recording Arts.  He also spent three months in the Bahama's working with Kendal Stubbs (The Baha Men) and Island Records founder and music business legend, Chris Blackwell.

Owen has been on both sides of the camera in many videos and has appeared in numerous television shows both here in the U.K. and all over Europe, from 'Top of the Pops' to 'G.M.T.V' and he is also well versed in 'handling the media' having done hundreds of radio and press interviews.

As well as being a co-partner in 'The Venue' theatre and 'Cafe Society Dancing', which he runs at 'Sound' in Leicester Square, he also consults to Charles B. Lewis on all aspects of his business, which includes his movie production company, the E.N.I.C organisation ( who own Tottenham Hotspur and many other football clubs across Europe) and was involved with him in the Hard Rock and Planet Hollywood franchises in South America and the Caribbean

TONY MYLES 

Tony has been involved in the entertainment world for several decades and has performed on countless TV programs in numerous countries.  These include Top of the Pops and Ready Steady Go where he shared the stage with Diana Ross and Dionne Warwick.  He enjoyed chart sucess with recordings in which he was both performer and composer.

He has performed live with such mega stars as Marvin Gaye, Tom Jones, Rolling Stones, Van Morrison and Cream.

He has also spent several years behind the microphone as a radio presenter in the UK and in Spain and during this period he has also written and produced a number of short plays for radio.
